The I/C RT 12-16 is the first and only battery
charger designed and built specifically for the Auto Racing Industry. Finally
mechanics can have the best of both worlds when it comes to the proper charging
of 12 and 16 volt batteries. Now one charger, the new I/C RT 12-16 works on Liquid, Sealed
Maintenance Free, Gelled or other types of Lead-Acid batteries. The I/C RT 12-16 is fully automatic so there
are no dials or meters to set. It tells you when the battery is READY, 80%, or
just where its capacity is at. The I/C RT 12-16 can be easily wall, trailer or bench
mounted. This is truly a high performance battery charger, with 3 Stage
charging, all microprocessor controlled. The I/C RT (REACTION TIME) 12-16 is rated at 30 amps for the fastest recharge
available today. The new Hibernate mode makes this same charger ideal for
winter battery storage. To eliminate any harmful effects of long term trickle
charge, this unit automatically shuts down to a zero output, minimal energy
consumption mode, after 24 hours in float/ standby, applying a maintenance
charge cycle to the battery once every 30 days.
